Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii
On January 3rd, President Barack Obama recognized January as National Mentoring Month 2013, encouraging all of us to pay special tribute to the men and women who change children's lives for the better, forever.
Since 1963, Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii has served our community by pairing carefully screened mentors with children who face adversity in their lives.
During January, you can help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary of service by honoring a mentor or person who made a lasting impact on your life by sending an e-giving card in the name of that special individual. Your gift will help us serve more than 800 children on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island so they can achieve success in school, avoid risky behaviors, improve their self-confidence and have hope for the future.
Mahalo for supporting National Mentoring Month and helping Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii continue to change children's lives! To learn more about our organization on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island, please visit www.bbbshawaii.org.
